We are pleased to announce Desiree Richards as the new Associate Principal at Nippersink Middle School for the 2011-2012 school year. We are excited to have Desiree join our NMS community of leaners.
The final All-School Dance of the year will be held Friday, April 29 from 6:30-8:30PM in the NMS Gymnasium.
The Peer Helpers will be hosting a Rec night on Friday, May 6 from 3-5PM. Activities will outside and include dodgeball, kickball, baggo and ladderball.

Join the members of the Nippersink Staff @ Papa Saverio's Pizza for Dinner. Teachers and administrators will be on hand during the evening of Thursday, April 14. Fifty percent of your dine in, carry out, or delivery pizza will be donated to NMS.
Quarter 3 Report Cards will be sent home with students on Thursday, March 24.
Nippersink Middle School students will once again have a chance to offset the cost of field trips, graduation, fee, etc. through the sale of Butter Braid Pastries. Click HERE for a letter from Mr. Molitor detailing this opportunity.
NMS students will be taking part in ISAT Exams during the week of March 7. You can help your child do his/her best on the test by:
1) Making sure that your child is on time and attends school on the days of testing;
2) Making sure your child gets a good night’s sleep the night before testing;
3) Providing a good healthy breakfast on the mornings of testing;
4) Reminding your child to ask the teacher questions if he/she does not understand the test directions;
5) Letting your child know that you have confidence in his/her ability to do his/her best; and
6) Advising your child not to worry about the test-just do the best he/she can.
The 6th Grade Field Trip to Medieval Times has been rescheduled. The trip is set for Thursday, March 24.

On Feb. 17 from 4:30 to 6, the NMS Peer Helpers are proud to present their Annual Family Reading Knight. This year's theme is "Reading is a Bear Necessity: Featuring The Jungle Book." In conjunction with this year's Reading, Knight, our neighbor, Tammy's Pizza of Richmond has pledged to donate 10% of every dine-in customers dinner bill to the NMS PTO. Due to the cancellations of classes on 2/2 and 2/3, the dates to call the office to schedule a Parent Teacher Conference has been extended to Wednesday, 2/9. Call will only be accepted between 9AM and 2PM.
